Charles A Walsh, Founder and CEO
Prior to founding ValueAppeal in 2009, Charlie was the CEO of ISSI Data, a national data storage
VAR located in Bothell, Washington. Charlie took over as CEO of the 25 year old company in 2005
and successfully sold the company to a competitor at the end of 2008. Previously, Charlie worked
in commercial real estate development on projects in Denver and Boston.
After growing up in the Seattle area, Charlie graduated cum laude from Bowdoin College with a
degree in International Relations, and earned a Master of Real Estate Development from the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He lives in Seattle with his wife and two kids.

Eric Brown, COO
Eric is a marketing and operations veteran. Prior to ValueAppeal, Eric co-founded and ran a technology-driven investment management firm for five years. Over the years, he has helped many successful software firms build innovative products while smartly scaling the business to accommodate growth. Eric graduated from Whitman College with a BA in History and the Leeds School of Business at University of Colorado, Boulder with a MBA. Eric lives in Seattle with his wife and two kids.

Matthew Willis, VP Product Development
Founder and president of Switch Development, a Seattle-based web development company, Matt brings
over 10 years of internet technology experience. In addition Matt has been a chief technology
partner for CondoCompare.com and several other Seattle area startups. He brings the mix between
visual sensitivity and technical aptitude that is crucial for thoughtful web experiences.
Matt graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a degree in Computer Science and Business
and lives in Seattle with his wife and daughter.

Angie Hugeback, Statistician
Angie Hugeback has a PhD in Statistics from the University of Chicago, and she has extensive experience developing creative solutions to complex and challenging statistical problems. In the past she has held research and professional positions at prestigious organizations such as NASA, Google, and Deloitte.
Matthew Hinkle, Lead Developer
Matthew has worked as an enterprise software developer for more than 10 years. Prior to ValueAppeal,
Matthew worked at several large healthcare companies writing custom internet applications and database
software to deal with large and difficult healthcare data challenges. Anyone who has worked with him
describes Matthew as their go-to-guy for code problems that no one else can solve. He brings a deep
understanding of software design to the ValueAppeal team.
Matthew graduated from University of Tennessee Knoxville with a degree in political science and
lives in Seattle with his wife Elaine.
Rick Drasch, Senior Developer
Rick has been designing software and data solutions for over 10 years in a wide variety of industries, ranging from custom software for research laboratories to web solutions for the staffing industry. Rick has worked through the full range of multi-tiered applications, and takes a particular pride in bringing elegant designs to fruition. Rick's comprehensive grasp of data-related issues makes him particularly suited for ValueAppeal's needs.
Rick graduated from the University of Connecticut with degrees in Biology and Anthropology and lives in Seattle.
George Meaders, Project Manager
George began his career as an educator and later transitioned into a role as technology lead at Expedia. As the primary point of contact for ValueAppeal’s customers, George works to constantly improve user experience. George has degrees in music and education from the University of Washington and lives with his wife in Seattle.

Ksenia is originally from Khabarovsk, Russia and is a recent graduate from Seattle Central, with a degree in Business Administration. Joy Williams-Doyle joined the ValueAppeal team in 2011. The DC native relocated to Seattle in 2009 after receiving her bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of the District of Columbia. Outside of the office, she loves to bake, dance and explore the sights and sounds of Seattle.
